Car registered "Out of State"

You CAN do your road test in a car registered out of state, as long as the registration and insurance card are valid. If the person accompanying the student to the road test has a NJ Driver License, the student may drive themselves to the testing center; however, if the accompanying person has an "Out of State" License, that person MUST drive. The student cannot drive the car unless the accompanying person has a NJ Driver License.
